Here's a shot that I took at Cherry Springs State Park with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel on Monday morning. I extend my thanks to Tom Bakowski for the use of his 15mm f/2.8 Canon EF fisheye lens and Orion SkyView Deluxe equatorial mount and to Tony Donnangelo for his Photoshop expertise. The transparency that night was phenomenal.

I didn't know you could still get shots like this in the Northeast.
Beautiful !!
I'll just HAVE to make it to cherry springs myself. I always hear the fellows at the club raving about the site.

Looks indeed nice. Do I see the head of scorpio on the right, there? (not too sure since it is hardly visible from these regions of the Earth.)
