I was recently attempting to photograph Saturn when I accidentally bumped my telescope just before my camera took the picture, (It was one a 10 second delay from pressing the trigger button.)

When Came up on my LCD (See Below) Intrigued me. icon_eek.gif Upon closer observation and a little research, I think, but I am not sure, that I may have accidentally photographed the International Space Station. icon_eek.gif

The image below has only beed adjusted for contrast and brightness and cropped, (The rest of the frame was essentially blank. This was a short exposure doe to Saturn's brighness, (which is what I was trying to image), so this is a bit dim and a little grainy.

What do you think?

ISS ?

Wow, very intriguing,.. It could well possibly be so. Yet, I have been so curious as to check into it myself, and I found this site that shows the actual locations on which the ISS travels over (by the way, the ISS orbits around the world 15 times per day, and has been for 5 years now).

And the picture on the above site actually seems interesting to see, it actually updates to the ISS's actual location every once in a while. Come check it out. This is also for others who might have an urge to observe this technological phenomenon. oh, and catch it with your scope before it gets away...its fast....really fast.

EDIT: Sorry, had to add the updated image of the ISS, and if you see closely, you can see what they have added to the ISS.

It does seem similar, doesn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t it?

There are guys who photograph such stuff, I recall seeing photos someplace, it was surprising cause you could see the outline clearly of the ISS... so it can be done, how I dont know
